A Short Poem by Ted Stourton.
This morning in unclouded weather I gazed upon the Moon, Through stars and
by heavens veil a glance most opportune, The Moon so bright appeared to be ,
sitting upon the peaceful sea The water flat, as flat can be , the sea as
calm as she could be.
And in the unclouded weather bright shone the stars and moon together And as
dawn began to break a brilliance of white in her wake, a merriweather Jack
Frost afoot sprinkling silver water droplets to shine, on our pleasant linin
land, Folks awakening to natures cure to common colds, and now indeed they
understand.
