In pink and sometimes amber white,
One sits and views a glorious site,
Elevated from the earth beneath,
No veil drawn or imagination deplete.
The Beauty of your Mind.
Time for time is time well spent,
In peaceful hours a book content,
Or sometimes in colours,
A grace , on occasions ,envied by others.
The Beauty of your Mind.
One brings to life unto the world ,
Small and crying and often curled ,
One cares not for war,
Or man his ways of violence store.
The Beauty of your Mind.
Thoughtful and often caring,
Life, one believes, is truly for sharing,
Contemplative by design,
And writing poems with intent, line by line.
The Beauty of your Mind.
Of all the square miles of sky one owns,
Of multicoloured clouds and tones,
A gentle touch and spirit of fair play,
One rightly demands that of the day.
The Beauty of your Mind.
The lightest touch of aesthetic beauty,
Carves a mark of delight within duty,
A butterfly’s touch is all one needs,
As swallows fly between barley sheeves.
The Beauty of your Mind.
And when shadows of the word appear,
One keeps one’s council clear,
A calm and smiling beauty’s glance,
Firm to point, that unnerving stance.

What is beauty what is grace
A contemplative question at any pace
A heartfelt smile and kind full act
Let your mind be free and not entrapped.
